Polish Aid Transforming Lives

The above students are from Bosco Boys Stephen Mbao, Wambua and Njihia accompanied by their Trainer Mr. Mutemi; they are enrolled in the welding department and are being rehabilitated from the streets. Most of their life they have spent on the streets with no one to support them, they are now in Bosco Boys center and learning the welding course in our institution. Polish Aid Project has played a great role in transforming their lives by renovating their workshop and providing the equipment and machinery they need to learn. This facility will provide them with a better chance for a life of dignity as they will be able to seek employment or self-employ themselves and others who are in need. They appreciate the effort and support offered by the Polish Aid Project in transforming their lives.

Training On New Welding Machinery

Welding Department received new and automated machinery. The Trainers in this department have undergone training on the new machines and have prepared an updated new course outline for the trainees. This will go along way in ensuring they are a competent and reliable work force ready to work in the industry or to engage in entrepreneurship

Inauguration Of Welding Department

The newly renovated welding department was inaugurated officially to commence training. This inauguration was done by the Provincial of East African Province, Fr. Asira, The Guest of Honor Mr. Pravin Chairman Vocational Training & Skills Development, Md. Dominica & Mr. Lucakz Coordinators of the Polish Aid Project and the Salesians of Don Bosco in Boys Town. The newly renovated workshop has automated and new machinery and will now be able to generate reliable workforce in this area and competent entreprenuers. we are grateful to the Polish Aid Project for making this possible.

Inauguration Of The Computer Laboratory.

The renovation and equipping of the computer laboratory is complete. This facility will cater to the ever growing need for ICT in the institution. It will advance innovation and creativity needed to achieve technical excellence and open up vast opportunities for self learning and research to all in the institution. New ICT Lab Transforming Lives Through Polish Aid Support

New Computer Lab funded and equipped by Polish Aid Project Empowering Youth with Skills For Life. ICT Skills are an enabler in career development and are playing a key role in our institution in promoting self learning for our trainees. Trainees are now able to be creative, innovative and enhance their skills through this new resource made available to us. They can now access free learning resources, learn through LMS Programs, look at entrepreneurship opportunities available among many other opportunities offered by this laboratory. we are grateful to the Polish Aid Project and look forward to working with them in the future, Be Blessed.

Don Bosco Boys Town Technical Institute, we are happy and honored to welcome to our institution Md. Anna, who is the Assistant project coordinator for the ongoing Motor Vehicle Mechanic Workshop Project. Soft Skills Training for Trainees.

Group 1 of the Trainees at Don Bosco Boys Town Technical Institute are undergoing soft skills training also thought of as people skills. They include; Effective Communication, Time Management, Conflict Resolution, Leadership, Teamwork, Work Ethics, Critical Thinking, Negotiating among others they are core and essential skills applicable to all professions. This has been made possible by Salesian Voluntary Missionary Service and Polish Aid and we are grateful to them for their continued support and partnership.

Progress of the Motor Vehicle Mechanic Department. The construction is on its last phase as they are now putting up the roof we thank God that it has progressed smoothly and look forward to working on the interior, furnishing and placement of the training machinery. Certification of the Soft Skills Training Program

Certification of the Soft Skills Training program sponsored and implemented by the Polish Aid Project and the Salesian Voluntary Missionaries. The trainees had an opportunity to add more value to their competence by learning soft skills needed to advance and progress in their different departments and also in entrepreneurship.
