Don Bosco Tech Kenya – Karen Campus Hosts Polish Deputy Minister

Don Bosco Tech Kenya – Karen Campus was honoured to host Poland’s Deputy Minister, Mr. Wojciech Zajączkowski, on Thursday, 1 October 2026, during a visit that highlighted the strong partnership between Poland and Kenya through development cooperation.

The visit provided an important opportunity to showcase the various dimensions of Poland–Kenya cooperation, including bilateral relations, economic cooperation, development assistance and other areas where the two countries can work together to create sustainable impact.

Mr. Wojciech Zajączkowski, accompanied by the Polish Aid Team, visited several projects at our institution that have previously benefited from Polish support. The delegation toured our training and project areas in Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Motor Vehicle Technology and Welding, gaining first-hand insight into the impact of this support on technical and vocational education.

During the visit, the delegation also had the opportunity to interact with our trainers and trainees, engaging in meaningful conversations about their experiences, practical training and the opportunities created through skills development.

For us at Don Bosco Tech Kenya – Karen Campus, the visit was a significant moment to demonstrate how international partnerships can contribute to strengthening technical education, improving learning environments and equipping young people with practical skills for employment and entrepreneurship.

We are deeply grateful to the Government of Poland and Polish Aid for their continued support towards skills development and technical education. Their partnership has contributed to creating opportunities for our trainees and strengthening our capacity to deliver quality, practical and industry-oriented training.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to the leadership of the Provincial Fr. TJ Office, Br. Francis Mulu, former Principal, and the leadership of Don Bosco Tech Kenya – Karen Campus, together with our trainers, staff and all those who contributed to making this special visit a success.

The visit reaffirmed our belief that meaningful partnerships, international cooperation and investment in technical skills can create lasting opportunities for young people and communities.

Strengthening Partnerships. Transforming Lives.

As Don Bosco Tech Kenya – Karen Campus, we remain committed to building partnerships that strengthen technical and vocational education, promote innovation and empower young people with the skills they need to shape a better future.

We look forward to continuing our collaboration with partners such as Polish Aid as we work together towards a future where quality technical education creates pathways to employment, entrepreneurship and sustainable development.
