A Meaningful Evening of Global Impact at Don Bosco Tech Kenya – Karen Campus
On 8th August 2026, we were privileged to host a distinguished delegation from the Embassy of Israel in Kenya at Don Bosco Tech Kenya – Karen Campus, led by H.E. Gideon Behar, Ambassador of the State of Israel to Kenya.
We were equally honoured to welcome Nermine Khouzam Rubin, Founder and CEO of Water 4 Mercy, a visionary global humanitarian, author, and a Fortuna Global 100 Changemaker 2026.
The delegation spent valuable time with our Director, Fr. Jose, our trainers, and students, while experiencing firsthand the learning environment, classrooms, and practical workshops at Don Bosco Tech Kenya.
The visit provided an important opportunity to showcase how technical and vocational education and training (TVET) can equip young people with practical skills, confidence, and pathways toward meaningful employment and entrepreneurship.
From our classrooms to our workshops, the delegation witnessed the practical approach at the heart of our training learning by doing, building competence, and preparing young people for the world of work.
The presence of leaders working in diplomacy, humanitarian development, water access, innovation, and youth empowerment made the engagement particularly inspiring.
We are grateful to H.E. Ambassador Gideon Behar, Nermine Khouzam Rubin, and the entire delegation for taking the time to visit us, interact with our team, and experience the work being done at Don Bosco Tech Kenya.
Such engagements remind us that when skills development, innovation, humanitarian action, and international partnerships come together, we can create stronger opportunities for young people and communities.
